CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AND DECORATIONS
The Christmas lights and decorations, which traditionally take place at the Ambohitsorohitra Palace, will be moved to the Ambohijatovo garden this year. Residents of Antananarivo and visitors to the capital during the holidays can visit them from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, from 7 pm to 10 pm, at a fee of 500 ariary per person.

PAEP AND TANA WATER 3 PROJECTS
The studies and land securing procedures for the installation of a 30,000m3 per day water production station in Ambohitrimanjaka, and the rehabilitation of the water production station in Mandroseza, as well as the development of 64km of water pipelines throughout the capital city, are in the finalization phase. The tender processes for the various works are already underway. These projects will be completed before the 2025 dry season to avoid water supply issues in the coming years, according to the Council of Ministers.

EXTERNAL LOANS
The Council of Ministers approved the request for exemption for credit restructuring and disbursement for the 2024 fiscal year for the repayment of the capital associated with external loans.

INDRICONNECT
The Initiative for Development, Ecological Restoration and Innovation (INDRI) recently launched the INDRIConnect platform. It is a collaborative online library aimed at maximizing collective impact in favor of ecological restoration in Madagascar. INDRIConnect is open to all stakeholders in Madagascar who are committed to reforestation, the protection of terrestrial and marine ecosystems, and sustainable development. It is possible to search for actors or documents, and even register as a contributor to share one’s own information.
