1. Day: Arrival in Antananarivo

Arrival at Antananarivo Airport. From there, you will be taken to the Villa Sybille. After a short transfer (approximately 10 minutes), you will arrive at your hospitable and cozy accommodation for the first night.

Day 2: First Stop in Andasibe

Early in the morning, you will drive east on the winding and well-maintained RN 2. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the famous private reserve "MadagascarExotique" owned by the renowned researcher Andre Pereyras. Here, you will discover an incredible variety of reptiles, amphibians, and lemurs who are not shy to pose for the camera in a nearby forest. Moramanga is the next stop before heading to the nearby area of Analamazoatra. Upon arriving near the Andasibe National Park, you will check in at your accommodation and have the chance to listen to the distinctive calls of the Indri-Indris, who often venture into the hotel grounds. Overnight stay at the "Eulophiella Lodge or equivalent" hotel.

3. Day: The impressive Pangalanes Canal (approx. 3h riding time)

Wake up today to the calls coming from the neighboring forest reserve - good morning in a completely different language! After breakfast, head to Briackville where your horses are already waiting for you. Once there, you'll have time to strengthen yourself with a lunch tailored to your personal preferences for the first leg of the horseback ride. Ride to Bac, on the Pangalanes Canal, once the most important waterway during the French colonization period. After successfully crossing the canal, you'll reach the expansive beach of Ambila. Set up your tents under exotic coconut palms and relax in the evening to the gentle sound of the sea and tropical atmosphere.

4. Day: Andevoranto – The Path to the "End of the World" (Approx. 5 hours of riding)

On the fourth day, your journey takes you along the white dream beach. You will ride around Bac to the south and reach the mouth of the Rianala River after some exhilarating gallops. Here in Andevoranto, at the "End of the World," fresh and saltwater merge. At the restaurant Les Cocotiers d’Andovoranto, you will be served a first-class lunch and have the opportunity to experience the warm hospitality of the local people. After a delicious meal, you will return to Ambila, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in either fresh or saltwater. Once again, you will spend the night in your cozy beachfront tent camp.

5. Day: A Day Full of Adrenaline (about 4 hours of riding time)

Today's tour takes you firmly in the saddle towards the North. Picturesque landscapes and dreamy paths allow you to fly over the terrain at a high gallop! In Vavony, a fishing village on the shores of Lake Rasoabe, you will take a short break before heading back to Ambila in the late afternoon. In the afternoon, you have the choice to take a relaxing swim in the sea or to face a new thrill: participate in exciting horseback riding games on the beach! After this eventful day, you and your horse have more than earned the peaceful night's rest at the beachside tent camp.

6. Day: Return to Antananarivo (approx. 3 hours riding time)

On your last day on horseback, you will once again cross or ride along the Canal des Pangalanes. For one final time, you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself and your horse with exhilarating gallops on Madagascar's dream beach. Enjoy one last gallop on magnificent sandy paths and along the beach. At noon, you will sadly have to say goodbye to the beloved animals. During your return journey to Antananarivo, you will make a stop at Pereiras Reserve, where you can observe numerous native animals in their natural habitat. You will prepare lunch yourself according to your wishes on this day. Back in Madagascar's capital, you will stay at the welcoming Villa Sibylle.

7. Day: Antananarivo and Surroundings

Back in Antananarivo, you have countless opportunities to make the most of your day. Immerse yourself in the bustle of the capital and enjoy the urban flair of Madagascar's diverse cultures. We are happy to arrange your transfer to the airport for you. However, it is recommended not to end your journey here. Make the most of your stay on the most beautiful island in the world and deepen your knowledge of the country and its people. We are happy to advise you on your options for further travel.
