This tour will take you to the main attractions in northern Madagascar.
From your motorcycle, you will comfortably experience the diversity of the landscape along the route: majestic mountains and hills of the highlands, mysterious abandoned moors in the west, dry savannas, and white beaches on the coast.
You will spend a full day exploring the fascinating region around Diego Suarez.
At the end of the trip, saying goodbye will be hard: you will experience the lush landscapes of the Mozambique Channel by boat and motorcycle.

Day 1: Arrival in AntananarivoOur team will welcome you directly upon your arrival at Ivato International Airport and take you to your hotel. Villa Sibylle is a private guesthouse located near the airport, surrounded by a tropical garden. Relax from your flight and enjoy your first dinner in Madagascar with an overnight stay there. |

Day 2: From Antananarivo to AnkarafantsikaDistance: 440 km In the morning, you will meet your tour guide and get a first look at your enduro bike. During the first ride, you will leave the bustling streets of "Tana" (as Antananarivo is called by locals) directly onto National Road 4. You will be surrounded by mountains and rice fields of the highlands. The descent into the dry prairie of the west is easy to handle. At the end of the day, you will find yourself in a dense original forest: Ankarafantsika is a nature reserve with a variety of endemic species. With some luck, you may see some mouse lemurs, the smallest primate in the world. Dinner and overnight stay in the reserve's bungalow. |

Day 3: From Ankarafantsika to AnkifyDistance: 520 km Get ready for a long day on the motorcycle! From Ankarafantsika, you will gradually leave the deserted landscape of the west and enter a coastal scenery. Ride along the Mozambique Channel until you reach Ankify. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel. |

Day 4: Ankify – Diego SuarezDistance: 240 km Embark on National Road 6, a well-maintained asphalt road. As far as the eye can see, you are surrounded by wooded savannah. In the distance, the majestic relief of the Ankarana Massif reveals itself. End the day upon arrival in Diego Suarez with an unforgettable sunset over the bay. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel. |

Day 5: Diego SuarezDistance: 200 km After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will explore the surroundings of Diego Suarez on a day tour. Whether it's the Amber Mountain National Park or the fishing village of Ramena with its white sandy beach, Madagascar will show you its diverse panorama from salt marshes to the "Pain du sucre", the "Sugarloaf" in the bay of Diego Suarez. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. |

Day 6: Diego Suarez – AnkifyDistance: 240 km Back on the road, you will once again experience the contrasts of the "red island": On the descent towards Nosy-Be, you will see vast wooded plains with bamboo, mango, and banana trees, as well as the relief of the Ankarana Mountains. |

Day 7: Ankify to Nosy-BeDistance: 100 km Get ready for an exciting day: Early in the morning, you will take a speedboat from Nosy-Be to the Lemur Islands of Nosy and Tanikely. Experience the thrill: At Tanikely, you can snorkel and discover vibrant underwater worlds with surgeonfish, pufferfish, and angelfish. The coral gardens stretch almost to the shore. After lunch on the beach, you will return to Nosy-Be. Hop on your motorcycle and ride to Mount Passot. From the summit, you will have the best view of the island. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. The tour can be extended upon request in Nosy-Be and surrounding areas. |

Day 8: Nosy-Be – Antananarivo (Transfer)Depending on the departure time of your flight to Antananarivo, you can enjoy the fantastic beaches of the island once again. A taxi will take you to the airport for your return flight to Antananarivo. This concludes our service for you.Of course, additional services or an extension tour are optional. |

Day ChecklistPlease keep your luggage under 45 lbs weight (equivalent to 20 kg) Bags: An ideal option is a duffel bag, a hiking backpack without a steel frame is also suitable. You can secure your bag with a padlock. Don't forget to label your bag with your address and the address of your vacation destination in Madagascar. A small 20-liter backpack is perfect for daily essentials like a camera and sunscreen. A mattress will be provided at the accommodations. For extra comfort, you may bring an additional foam mattress. Beds, mattresses, and blankets are available on-site.
