Sail Tour Discovery Tour in 7 Days

Day 1: Nosy Be – Kisimany – Russian Bay

You will be transferred from your hotel to the port early in the morning.

Upon arrival at the port, you will receive a detailed briefing about the planned destinations, the ship, and your stay on board. The sailing ship then departs from the port.

The first sailing trip lasts about 2 hours.

The first stop is a beautiful beach on Kisimany, a small island with a sleepy fishing village. Here, you can swim, snorkel, or kayak.

Afterwards, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board.

The boat then sets sail for the spectacular Russian Bay with a 2-hour sailing trip.

The ship anchors at Russian Bay, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed first night on board.

End the day with a delicious, communal dinner on board.

Day 2: Russian Bay – Ankazoberavina – Barahamamay

Departure in the early morning hours.

A 30-minute boat ride will take you to Ankazoberavina Ecolodge.

Here, a delicious breakfast with local specialties awaits you.

Explore the heavenly island with a guide and discover the pristine nature. Optional activities include diving (extra cost, not included in our program).

Enjoy a fresh meal on board at lunchtime.

Departure is in the early afternoon for a 3-hour sailing trip.

The next anchoring destination is Barahamamay.

Here, you will find a beautiful river mouth winding between a primary forest and mangroves. Spend the rest of the day marveling at the unique nature and unwinding.

In the evening, a dinner together awaits you and overnight stay on board.

Day 3: Barahamamay – Kalakajoro

After a perfect start to the morning with breakfast on board, we will go ashore and visit the village and school of the area.

Here, you will experience firsthand the simple yet happy life in Madagascar. Feel free to bring notebooks, pens, or used clothing for the children (material donations are very welcome).

At noon, enjoy a delicious meal on board the Ange Bleu.

Afterwards, you can go kayaking among the mangroves or simply relax on Barahamamay for the rest of the day.

During a 3-hour sail, the Ange Bleu will set sail towards Nosy Kalakajoro.

This is the first island of the Radama Archipelago.

The highlights of the island include the stunning beach and unique flora.

Marvel at the steep cliffs and exotic appearance of this volcanic island. You can also explore a former fishing village camp and a traditional Dhow construction site here.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner with a great view and spend the night on board.

Day 4: Kalakajoro – Antany Moro

Start your day with a 2-hour sailing trip to Antany Moro.

Here, you will have the opportunity to meet the local Sakalava nomads and fishermen, and explore the land.

Don't miss the chance to observe the countless bird colonies that share the island with you.

It's a perfect backdrop for photos and discovering new species.

Enjoy a delicious lunch on board the sailboat with a stunning view of the pristine white sand beach.

The rest of the day is yours to relax and explore the island at your own pace.

In the evening, savor a freshly prepared dinner on deck and spend the night at sea.

Day 5: Antany Moro – Nosy Iranja – Barahamama

The Ange Bleu sets sail in the early morning hours for a 4-hour sail towards the Nosy Iranja islands.

This island is actually made up of two parts connected by a magnificent white sandbank.

Enjoy a delicious, relaxing lunch on board.

After disembarking, a visit to the village is on the agenda.

You will walk to the city's lighthouse.

After the visit, you can go kayaking, snorkeling, or swim and relax in the bright turquoise water.
Departure is at 4pm with a 1-hour sail back to the Baramahamay River.

You will have another chance to admire the beautiful river mouth, mangroves, and primary forest.

In the evening, another communal dinner on board awaits you.

Enjoy the wonderful view under the clear starry sky.

Day 6: Barahamamay – Antsoa – Russian Bay

Embark on a 3-hour sailing trip to Antsoa in the morning.

This enchanting private island is home to numerous lemurs.

Here, you can pet and feed the cute animals famous in Madagascar. Relax on a beautiful white sand beach and enjoy the paradise surroundings.
Later, savor a freshly cooked lunch on board the Ange Bleu.

By 4:00 PM, we will return to Russian Bay at a different anchorage.

In the evening, indulge in a luxurious dinner with a stunning view of the legendary bay and pamper yourself in a dreamy setting.

Day 7: Russian Bay – Tanikely – Nosy Be

Early in the morning, we set off on our final leg of the journey.

The 3-hour sail to Nosy Tanikely is smooth and expertly navigated.

Nosy Tanikely is a famous protected marine reserve.

It is renowned for its exceptional marine and terrestrial biodiversity.

Here, you can leisurely snorkel and kayak amidst colorful fish and sea turtles.

After this adventure, we will treat you to a delicious lunch on board.

Take in the stunning surroundings once more with a walk on land and a visit to the local lighthouse.

You can also relax on the beach before heading back to the hotel.

Departure is at 4:00 PM. The final, short 2-hour sail will bring you back to Nosy Be.

You will arrive at the Nosy Be marina before 6:00 PM.

You will be picked up at the harbor and safely transferred back to your hotel.
