ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENDER
Following the death of Franck Papagiorgiou, founder of Vallombre Natiora, in Ambatolaona, and defender of Madagascar’s nature, who lost his life while trying to extinguish a fire in the forest he had been protecting for years, the Initiative for Development, Ecological Restoration and Innovation (INDRI) is calling for a serious investigation to determine the circumstances of his death and those responsible for the devastating fire.
