These short tours all start from the capital city of Antananarivo and are designed as add-on tours to other trips with or without motorcycles.
Despite its proximity to Antananarivo, this tour takes place in pristine nature, as the area around the Tsiazompaniry and Mantasoa Lakes can only be accessed via trails.

Day 1: Arrival in AntananarivoOur team will welcome you directly upon your arrival at Ivato International Airport and take you to your hotel. Villa Sibylle is a private guesthouse located near the airport, surrounded by a tropical garden. Relax after your flight and enjoy your first dinner in Madagascar with an overnight stay there. |

Day 2 - Antananarivo - AmpefyDay stage of about 221 KM. First day on the trails of the highlands, to get a consistent setting on the trails in this stage. Heading west to Ampefy, a small town where more than 40 lakes of volcanic origin, including Lake Itasy, are scattered throughout the region. |

Day 3 - Ampefy to AntsirabeTravel distance of approximately 211 KM. On the third day, you will head to Antsirabe, the second largest city in the central region of the country. Known as one of the centers of agricultural and industrial production in the country, this city offers a landscape of plains and valleys dotted with forests. To get there, you will cross the mountain range of the Analamanga region, which offers one of the most beautiful panoramas of the highlands. |

Day 4 - Antsirabe to AmbatolampyToday's journey covers approximately 150 km. Start your day early heading towards the Ankarana Massif, the central mountain range that will lead you to Ambatolampy, a small town known for its craftsmanship and aluminum foundry that supplies the entire country with pots and other kitchen utensils for daily life. |

Day 5 - Ambatolampy - MantasoaEnjoy a scenic drive of approximately 152 km from Ambatolampy to Mantasoa. Explore the highland trails leading to Mantasoa, located east of the capital city, with beautiful views of the lakes along the way. Stay overnight in a charming highland town near a lake that shares its name. Experience the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty of this area during your stay. |

Day 6 - Mantasoa to AnjozorobeApproximately 160 km journey Admire the scenic beauty of Anjozorobe, with its vast plains, hills, and forests. Anjozorobe is a rural town surrounded by dense forests, some of which are considered sacred and celebrated by the local population on special occasions. |

Day 7 - Anjozorobe to AntananarivoTravel distance of 130 km On this final day of the motorcycle tour, you will leave the primary forest of Anjozorobe and head back towards the capital city in the south. Depending on your current desires, the tour guide will suggest various travel routes of different difficulty levels to return to the capital city. The tour ends in the afternoon of this day, but an overnight stay and dinner at Villa Sibylle or another tour are of course optional. |
