This is a relatively short connecting tour that can be extended upon request or customized to fit other variations.
These short tours all depart from the capital city of Antananarivo and are designed as connecting tours for other trips with or without motorcycles.
Despite its proximity to Antananarivo, this tour takes place in untouched nature as the area around Lake Tsiazompaniry and Mantasoa can only be reached via trails.
Extending the tour is recommended, and we can also handle the accommodation and any other variations of the connecting tours as optional extras.

Day 1: Arrival in AntananarivoOur team welcomes you directly upon arrival at Ivato International Airport and takes you to your hotel. Villa Sibylle is a private guesthouse located near the airport, surrounded by a tropical garden. Relax from your flight and enjoy your first dinner in Madagascar with an overnight stay there. |

Day 2 - Antananarivo - AnjozorobeDaily stage of 130 KM On the first day of driving, you will head to Anjozorobe, a small village in the Imerina region. This area is known to be home to one of the last remnants of primary forest that once covered the highlands. |

Day 3 - Anjozorobe - MantasoaCovering a distance of approximately 160 KM. On the third Day, you will drive along the route leading you to Mantasoa. You will discover an exceptional panorama of hills and cliffs before reaching the vast lake. |

Day 4 - Mantasoa - AntananarivoStage of 90 KM In the final stage of this enduro tour, depending on your current desires, the guide will suggest different travel routes with varying levels of difficulty to return to the capital. The tour ends in the afternoon of this day, but an overnight stay and dinner at Villa Sibylle or another tour are of course optional. |

Day ChecklistPlease keep your luggage under 45 lbs weight (equivalent to 20 kg). Bags: An ideal option is a duffel bag, or a hiking bag (without steel bar) is suitable as well. You can secure your bag with a padlock. Don't forget to label your bag with both your address and the address of your holiday destination in Madagascar. A small backpack with a capacity of 20 liters is great for daily essentials, such as camera and sunscreen. Sleeping Bag: A mattress will be provided for overnight stays. If you desire more comfort, please bring an additional foam mattress. A sleeping bag is required. Beds, mattresses, and blankets are available on-site. Additional comfort items like pillows are up to each traveler. Clothing and Personal Equipment: Two lightweight pants, four shirts (including long-sleeve for sun protection), a swimsuit, sweater or jacket for cold nights, sunglasses, hat, lightweight sports shoes, sleeping bag, flip-flops, flashlight with batteries. Special Motorcycle Gear: Motorcycle boots or waterproof hiking shoes are highly recommended, lightweight leather or synthetic motorcycle jacket, rain gear, gloves, helmet. |
