Visa for Madagascar
Getting a tourist visa for Madagascar is very easy and straightforward. As long as you have a valid passport with at least six months validity, you have already met the most important requirement for obtaining a tourist visa. The authorities at Antananarivo airport will not require any additional documents from you and will issue the visa on the spot. The classic visa allows for a stay of up to 30 days and costs 25.00 euros. If you wish to stay longer, you can also obtain a tourist visa for up to 90 days, which is also subject to a fee. The 90-day visa is usually not extendable. One way to bypass this bureaucratic hurdle may be to take a trip to one of the neighboring islands, such as La.
